Apart from the Volvo ES90 Ultra, Volvo also launched the Volvo EX90 Ultra BEV in the local market.
The Volvo EX90 is a fully electric 7-seater SUV built on Volvo’s SPA2 platform.
It features a twin-motor all-wheel-drive system that produces 408 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. It is powered by a 111 kWh battery, offering up to 624 km of range on a single charge.
The EX90 supports DC fast charging of up to 350 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 22 minutes. It also receives over-the-air (OTA) software updates for improvements in features, apps, maps, and safety systems.
For safety, the EX90 is equipped with Volvo’s Safe Space Technology. It uses eight cameras, five radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors to provide a 360-degree view around the vehicle.
A Driver Understanding System monitors driver behavior and can give alerts or assistance when necessary.
The Volvo EX90 Ultra BEV is priced at PHP 5,990,000 in the Philippines.
