
vivo has officially introduced the vivo Y500i in China.
The device features a 6.75-inch LCD screen with 1570 × 720 resolution, a 19.6:9 aspect ratio, and support for up to 120Hz refresh rate. The panel covers 83% NTSC color gamut and offers a 1500:1 contrast ratio.

For photography, the vivo Y500i uses a single 50MP rear camera (f/1.8) with autofocus and LED flash, supporting up to 10× digital zoom and 1080p video recording. The front houses a 5MP camera (f/2.2) with 1080p video support.
Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, built on a 4nm process, paired with the Adreno 613 GPU. It is available in 8GB or 12GB RAM options, with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. vivo’s memory fusion allows up to 12GB of virtual RAM, depending on the variant.

The phone is backed by a large 7200mAh battery and supports 44W wired charging, along with OTG reverse charging. vivo claims up to 23 days of 4G standby time under laboratory conditions.
Software-wise, the vivo Y500i runs OriginOS 6 out of the box.



The vivo Y500i starts at CNY1,499 for the 8GB + 128GB model and goes up to CNY2,199 for the 12GB + 512GB variant in China.
