
vivo has officially introduced its foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold5, to the Philippines.
This is the first time vivo has brought its foldable smartphone technology to Southeast Asia.
The device comes in an 8.03-inch main display and a 6.53-inch cover display, both with 4500 nits peak brightness, 2K+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.

For optics, the device is co-engineered with ZEISS; the setup includes a 50MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom), a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX921 sensor), and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
It also has two front cameras, a 20MP f/2.4 camera on the main screen and a 20MP f/2.4 camera on the cover screen.

Inside, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage
Apart from that, it packs a 6000mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Other features include Origin Workbench (multitasking), DocMaster (PDF and file tools), and AI functions such as real-time transcription, summaries, and translations. The device also integrates Google Gemini.

The vivo X Fold5 is now available in concept stores nationwide. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at PHP109,999
Early buyers will receive a bundle that includes a vivo Watch GT PHP7,099, a vivo VIP Card pre-loaded with PHP7,000, and a vivo Life Bag PHP1,299.
