vivo Watch GT Review

Today, we’re stepping away from smartphones and taking a closer look at vivo’s latest addition to its wearable lineup, the vivo Watch GT.

Packed with promising features designed to assist with your day-to-day needs, the question is: is it worth the price? Let’s find out.

Design and Build Quality

The vivo Watch GT sports a square-shaped watch head with rounded corners, giving it a sleek and premium look.

From a distance, it has a clean and minimalistic appearance that’s quite pleasing to the eye. The body is made of matte aluminum alloy, while a stainless steel crown sits on the side for navigation.

Weighing just 33 grams, the watch is lightweight and not bulky on the wrist. Strap options are limited, though the unit we have comes with a rubber strap. While simple, it gets the job done.

Overall, the design is impressive, a mix of aesthetics and premium build quality. The watch is also rated 2ATM, offering water resistance up to 20 meters.

Display

On the front, the vivo Watch GT features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 × 450 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate.

Navigation feels smooth and responsive, while brightness levels are decent enough for outdoor use.

Software and Connectivity

The watch runs on vivo’s BlueOS. Pairing is done through the vivo Health app, though the experience can be a bit frustrating, occasional disconnections sometimes require logging in again.

For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.3.

Health and Fitness Features

The vivo Watch GT offers 100+ workout modes, with automatic detection available (though manual setup tends to deliver more accurate results).

It also tracks heart rate, stress levels, blood oxygen, and sleep activity, making it a reliable fitness companion.

Battery Life

Powering the watch is a 480mAh battery, which vivo claims can last up to 21 days on regular use.

In our experience, after two weeks of use, we’ve only charged it once, and it’s still running strong, a definite highlight for this watch.

Pricing

The vivo Watch GT comes in two variants:

  • Soft Rubber Summer Black – PHP 7,599
  • Leather Cloud White – PHP 8,099

While slightly on the pricey side, it offers a good package for first-time smartwatch buyers, plenty of features, solid battery life, and a clean display.

Our only gripe was the rubber strap, which felt a bit tricky to put on.

Verdict

If you’re shopping for a new smartwatch and have the budget, the vivo Watch GT is worth considering. It delivers a balance of style, features, and performance, making it a solid contender in its category.
