
With the vivo G2, vivo covertly introduced a new smartphone series in China. It seems that the latest series aims to target the entry-level smartphone category.
For specs, it sports a 6.56-inch LCD panel with a teardrop notch style, an HD+ 1612 x 720 resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The vivo G2 is powered by MediaTek’s 2.2GHz 7nm Dimensity 6020 octa-core processor paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W USB Type-C charging.
Other features include a 13MP main rear camera, a 5MP selfie shooter, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an Origin OS 3-based Android 13 OS.
Pricing and Availability
The vivo G2 is now available on the brand’s physical stores in China. There is no word yet for local availability.
