
Singtel Group reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its investments in the Philippines during a meeting with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in Singapore.
Singtel Group will continue investing in telecommunications, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud technologies, digital services, and data center infrastructure to support the country’s growing digital economy.
Singtel executives, including CEO Yuen Kuan Moon, met with the President together with Globe Telecom President and CEO Carl Cruz and Ayala Corporation Vice Chairman Fernando Zobel de Ayala.
During the meeting, the group highlighted the launch of NCS Philippines, a joint venture between Singtel’s technology services arm NCS and Globe’s Yondu. The partnership increased NCS’ workforce in the Philippines from around 150 to about 1,200 employees, supporting services in AI, cloud, and digital technologies.

Singtel also cited the expansion of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) in the country, including the STT Fairview facility in Quezon City and the STT Cavite 2 development.
These projects are intended to expand the country’s data center capacity and digital infrastructure.
