Samsung Unveils Project Moohan XR Headset

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event unveiled a wide range of new Samsung devices, including the company’s first extended reality (XR) headset, codenamed Project Moohan.

In Q4 of 2024, we shared details about Samsung’s XR headset, which is set to run on Android XR. This platform was co-developed by Google and Qualcomm.

The headset is expected to feature ultra-high-resolution OLEDoS displays, low-latency passthrough technology, and spatial computing capabilities powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip.

It may also include advanced features like eye tracking, hand gesture recognition, and voice control for more intuitive interactions.

Additionally, the device is integrated with Google’s Gemini AI assistant, potentially offering tools such as live text translation and advanced browsing capabilities.
