More Galaxy C5 news, comparisons, reviews
The Galaxy C5 is said to carry a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen, similar to Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) and just smaller compared to Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). The processor is either a 1.2GHz octa-core or the faster 1.5GHz, which still unknown if a MediaTek Helio or a Snapdragon chip. But the good news is both variant will be paired with a 4GB RAM, 32/64GB internal memory, and support to microSD card up to 128GB.
Samsung is targeting the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro and Lenovo ZUK Z2 by looking at the specs along.
The camera, on the other hand, is a 16MP main shooter and 8MP selfie snapper. There will be no removable battery, but at 2600mAh, this puts the Galaxy C5 a little smaller from the 2900mAh of Galaxy A5 (2016).
Official price will put the Galaxy C5 between the Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy A5 (2016) at roughly Php 17k/$390 estimated official pricing in the Philippines, USA, UAE/Middle East, and India.
With the aluminum design, we would probably see a grey/metal color variant aside from the gold.
What do you think of the Samsung Galaxy C5? Is this a direct contender to the Sony Xperia X and Xperia XA?
