A new leak shows off the new design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. But given the unique look of the truly wireless earbuds, it’s hard not to rule out that it could be an entirely new audio accessory from the South Korean company. As it stands right now, the tech world is calling it the Galaxy Buds 2. Technically speaking, the Galaxy Buds+ is the second generation of Samsung’s audio accessory. It offers better call quality and longer battery life than its predecessor.
For the third generation, the rounded and rubbery ear tips are said to be replaced by bean-shaped earbuds. Given the shape of the buds themselves, it looks like it’s made to snuggly fit in the ears. Hopefully, the new buds won’t fall off easily when working out. According to the source, the new design will bring better and wider fitness tracking support, such as heart rate, distance, speed, oxygen, and others. While the price remains in the dark, the release date of Galaxy Buds 2 is claimed to be at the same time as the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 which may happen around August.
