The new addition to the Galaxy series is finally here!
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) has been officially released in Europe. These are the successors of the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 that were released early 2017. The Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ are Samsung’s first dual selfie camera smartphones. It comes with a 16MP + 8MP front cameras.
It has a Live Focus feature that lets you choose whether you want the background to have soft bokeh effect, blurred, or focused. Also, the rear camera has been upgraded with a brighter f/1.7 aperture for the 16MP sensor. In the video department, they also added digital stabilization for steadier outputs.
The reports were right about the Galaxy A8 and A8+ having infinity displays. It has the 18:9 aspect ratio and curved glass. The A8+ stretches to 6-inch, however, the Galaxy 8 has a smaller 5.8-inch screen.
The phones also come with Android 7.1 Nougat, which is actually quite disappointing for some. The Galaxy A8 is priced at €499 while the larger model is priced at €599. There’s still no information on where and when will it be available outside.
