Remember the Galaxy A31 that was announced first last month? Well, it’s now up for pre-order in South Korea with an official price of KRW 374,000(~P15,400). Availability in the Philippines and other countries remains to be seen, but for now, here’s what Samsung’s mid-range phone has to offer.
We initially compared the Galaxy A31 to the Realme 6i given their similarities in specs and features. We were even worried about the upcoming price tag of the Samsung device since it’s significantly more expensive than the Realme competition. As it stands right now, the price of the Galaxy A31 seems to be justifiable. For starters, the 6.4″ screen is of Super AMOLED on a crisp FHD+ resolution. There’s the Infinity-U notch that houses the 20MP selfie camera. On the back, there are four cameras — 48MP f2.0 + 8MP f2.2 ultrawide + 5MP f2.4 lenses for macro and depth. The battery is rated 5000mAh and supports 15W USB-C fast charging already. While the name of the chipset wasn’t listed, it was revealed earlier that it’s MediaTek’s Helio P65. As for RAM and storage, you have 4GB and 64GB to boot.
