The first Redmi Note phone with Super AMOLED is now in the Philippines! Dubbed as the Redmi Note 10, it comes with an official price tag of Php9,990 for the 6GB/128GB model and P8,490 for the 4GB/64GB. It’s succeeding the cheap FHD Redmi Note 9 of 2020, with a few upgrades here and there. It’s also going to be available starting midnight, March 13 via Lazada (P500 off) and other authorized retail stores.
For starters, the Redmi Note 10 may have a smaller display and footprint due to the 6.43″ panel, but it’s now using an FHD+ Super AMOLED that delivers punchy colors and a great contrast ratio. It even peaks at 1100nits when watching HDR videos.
As for the cameras, it’s the same quad-camera setup featuring 48MP wide, 8MP ultrawide, and a pair of 2MP sensors for macro and depth. However, video recording now goes up to 4K@30fps. And for the 13MP selfie camera, it’s now located at the top center.
Other notable upgrades are a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, Snapdragon 678 SoC, Android 11 out of the box, stereo speakers, and graphite cooling.
Xiaomi only teased the Redmi Note 10 Pro during the launch event. That said, they did confirm that the device will be revealed soon.
