
Xiaomi has announced the Redmi K70 Ultra, its latest flagship from the budget sub-brand.
The K70 Ultra sports a 6.67 inches OLED display co-developed with TCL. It offers 1.5K resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4000 nits. The screen features a flat panel design with a centered punch hole for the selfie camera.
Speaking of cameras, sported by triple rear camera and a selfie camera. Rear cameras are lead by 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it includes a 20MP front sensor.
The Redmi K70 Ultra is powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9300+ chipset, built on a 4nm process. It is paired with Xiaomi’s proprietary Pengpai T1 signal enhancement chip, offering a 12% boost in WiFi performance, a 20% improvement in GPS performance, and a 58% increase in 5G signal strength.
The device also includes a Surge P2 chipset for fast charging, a G1 chip for power management, and a D1 chip as an independent display processor. The K70 Ultra is available in several storage options, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage.
It is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging.
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K70 Ultra in Black, White, and Blue, with storage options priced at CNY2,599 for 12GB + 256GB (around PHP20,899), CNY2,899 for 12GB + 512GB (approx. PHP23,299), CNY3,199 for 16GB + 512GB (around PHP25,699), and CNY3,599 for 16GB + 1TB (PHP28,909).
