
Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon X2 Plus platform at CES, expanding its Snapdragon X Series lineup for Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs.
Snapdragon X2 Plus is powered by the 3rd Gen Qualcomm Oryon CPU and an integrated Hexagon NPU capable of up to 80 TOPS of AI performance.
Qualcomm claims the CPU delivers up to 35% faster single-core performance while using 43% less power compared to the previous generation.
The platform supports Wi-Fi 7, optional 5G connectivity, and Snapdragon Guardian security features.
It is designed for thin and lightweight laptops that can handle multitasking, creative work, and AI-driven applications.

Qualcomm said select Snapdragon X2 Plus devices from major PC manufacturers will be available in the first half of 2026.
