POCO has announced the shutdown of its official website and all related sites, including regional domains, on December 31, 2024.
Fortunately, POCO’s website will continue to offer its products and services through Xiaomi’s official website.
Despite being marketed as an independent brand since 2020, this change indicates a consolidation of Xiaomi’s online presence.
However, the standalone Store app will not be migrating and will cease to function following the website’s shutdown.
The transition to Xiaomi’s platform will start on October 21, 2024. After this date, customers will no longer be able to make purchases. Existing customer support, product offerings, and services will be seamlessly integrated into Xiaomi’s ecosystem.
Loyalty programs will also be maintained, with POCO Points and loyalty points transferring to the Xiaomi platform.
Additionally, current coupons will be reissued before December 12, 2024. Users can expect a smooth migration of their past orders, tracking information, and user reviews to the new site, requiring no action on their part.
What do you think of POCO and Xiaomi’s decision of closing the POCO website?
