As scheduled, POCO has launched the POCO F2 Pro featuring Snapdragon 865, 5G, 64MP quad-cameras, and a 20MP pop-up selfie camera for the global market. The base model with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.0 storage is priced at €499(~P27,000) while the top model with 8GB LPDDR5 and 256GB UFS 3.1 will set you back at €599(~P32,600). Poco F2 Pro is already available for purchase on Gearbest and AliExpress and will expand to other markets like Amazon, Shopee, and Lazada very soon. Interestingly, the base model on Gearbest is selling for $499.99(~P25K) only.
The POCO F2 Pro is basically the re-branded version of Redmi K30 Pro that launched in China last March. You can read about the features of the device here which includes the use of 60Hz. However, the Zoom Edition that offers up to 3x optical zoom is not present. And with the “Pro” on the moniker, we feel that the POCO F2, aka Redmi K30, might be on the horizon already.
