Persona, a video game franchise, will be releasing an official companion app called Persona O.A., which means original animation, this Spring 2018 in Japan as reported by Atlus. The app will be available for iOS and Android devices.
The “support app” will aid in updating the players on the latest news about the series as well as letting them enjoy conversations with the characters through its included exploration game and additional events. Do note that new character interactions have been developed solely for the app.
The app will also offer ways on obtaining “Persona Points” which can be used to summon different personas in the Velvet Room. The points may also be used to sign up for exclusive presents such as wallpapers and event registrations. A way for the player to gain these points is through QR codes or serial codes.
Although the official date for the app’s release is not yet confirmed, fans may pre-register for the app through their official webpage. As of now, there are still no updates if the app will be released to western countries.
