After rumors, OPPO has officially announced that the upcoming Reno8 series will officially launch on May 23 in China. It is expected that at least three smartphones will debut in the series: the OPPO Reno8, OPPO Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+.

OPPO has yet to reveal official details about the series, but leaks have surfaced online revealing the specs and renders.

The OPPO Reno8 is rumored to arrive with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1300 with ARM G77 MC9 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera, and a 4500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC Fast Charging. It is also expected to come with a 50MP +8MP +2MP rear camera configuration.

Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno8 Pro will allegedly sport a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 with Adreno 662 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 32MP front-facing camera, and a 4,500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Camera-wise, it is expected to arrive with a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP rear camera setup with MariSilicon X NPU.

There’s also the OPPO Reno8 Pro+, which is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 4,500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The smartphone will sport a triple camera setup with MariSilicon X NPU consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront will be a 32MP selfie shooter. It will also have an aluminum frame and a slim profile of just 7.34mm, and will weigh 183g.
