OPPO F3 and F3 Plus to officially launch in the Philippines on March 23

The home of the selfie capital of the world – Philippines, will be the debut ground of the OPPO F3 come March 23rd.

OPPO has finally sent an invitation for the official launch of the successor to the OPPO F1s or dubbed as the “selfie expert”.

No doubt that the F1s captured every single smile with its 16MP selfie camera but OPPO is about to up the ante on that category.

Much like Vivo, OPPO will let us witness a new era of dual selfie camera, and thanks to some street ads, this will be officially known as OPPO F3. We all know that this is OPPO’s flagship lineup when it comes to selfie, so they will also bring the OPPO F3 Plus on the table.

Apparently, the Chinese company can’t keep a secret as an alleged spec list of the F3 Plus has been leaked.

OPPO F3 Plus Specs

It’s a mid-range tier judging by the Snapdragon 653 under the hood, to be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. If that’s not enough, you can expand that through microSD card slot of up to 256GB.

The bigger model also ventured to the sub-phablet size with its 6.0-inch 1080P display, covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The same protection found on the back of the LG G6. This, of course, will account to the 4000mAh battery.

And finally, you have a 16MP rear camera and another 16MP + 8MP front facing shooter for your wide angle selfies.

You might feel a little left behind with its ColorOS 3.0 based on Android Marshmallow but better than the Lollipop version of the F1s.

Color options will let you choose from Gold and Black with an estimated price tag of Php20,000 Philippine peso or $397USD.

However, we are not yet sure if the regular model will come with dual-selfie camera. Should it come with dual-camera setup, then we are guessing its close to the price tag of the Vivo V5, otherwise, it’s on par with the V5 Lite.
