Thru a Weibo post, OPPO has confirmed that it will announce and reveal the new ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 this November 20th.
The poster used for the announcement is interesting. We’re looking at a minimal style as seen from the color palette. That said, we’re hoping OPPO is finally veering away from its cluttered user interface that Android enthusiasts hate. Furthermore, a few items are arranged in place. But what’s interesting is the use of an old Game Boy handheld game console and even a disc that’s never used today.
On the other end, Realme, OPPO’s sister company, confirmed that it’s going to release an exclusive version of ColorOS 7 featuring closer to near-stock Android experience. While OPPO may be going for a minimal look to have a cleaner-looking UI, Realme is listening to the feedback of its users, delivering what they want in the first place.
