OnePlus Denies Shutdown in India

After ASUS’s quiet exit from the smartphone market, online discussions have now turned to OnePlus India.

Recent reports circulating online claimed that OnePlus is shutting down its operations in India. However, the company was quick to deny these rumors, stating that the information is false and unverified.

In a brief statement, OnePlus clarified that its business operations in India remain unaffected and continue as normal. The company also urged the public to verify information through official channels before sharing reports online, as unconfirmed claims can confuse customers and partners.

Robin Liu, CEO of OnePlus India, also addressed the issue on his X account, reaffirming that the brand is operating as usual and will continue its business in the Indian market.

On the other hand, OnePlus has also made the OnePlus 15R available in the Philippines. The smartphone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
