A few weeks after the launch of the OnePlus Ace in China which was rebranded as the OnePlus 10R in India, the brand is now gearing up to launch a new smartphone under the same lineup but will be a more affordable alternative. It is called the OnePlus Ace Speed Edition and will go official on May 17, OnePlus has confirmed.
The teaser also confirms a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, two color options, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and triple-rear cameras with a 64MP main sensor.
Apart from that, no official specs have been revealed. However, leaks as well as its TENAA certification have surfaced online revealing its specs.
The OnePlus Ace Speed edition is rumored to sport a 6.59-inch FHD+ (2412 x 1080) IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 or Dimensity 8100-Max octa-core processor, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5000mAh battery. The rest of the camera specs will allegedly be an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP selfie camera at the front.
Official details will be revealed at the launch.
