OnePlus Ace goes official with Dimensity 8100 Max, 120Hz AMOLED display

On schedule, OnePlus officially introduced its latest smartphone in the new Ace series in China, the OnePlus Ace. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1000Hz touch sampling rate, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Under the hood, it is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC that combines the HyperBoost game frame stabilization engine, offering game stability, AI computing, and night scene video noise reduction. The device also comes with up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 4500mAh battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The OnePlus Ace incorporates a triple-rear camera configuration consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 16MP selfie camera.

Other features of the smartphone include an independent graphics chip that doubles the frame rate, a total heat dissipation area of 35198.2mm², the world’s first new super crystalline graphite cooling, and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth full acceleration technology.

The OnePlus Ace is now available for pre=order and will go on sale in China starting April 26. No word yet for availability in other markets.
