OnePlus finally put an end to the fans’ anticipation of its newest flagship as they unveiled the OnePlus 6 at an exclusive event in London. It bears a notched display, a Snapdragon 845, a 20MP + 16MP rear cameras, water-resistance, and more.
The OnePlus 6 sports a 6.28-inch Full Optic Full HD+ display with 2180 x 1080p resolution. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. As mentioned, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with Adreno 630.
This new OnePlus flagship smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS 5.1. It is fueled by a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge. It has both Face Unlock and Fingerprint sensor. It is also water-resistant and comes with a USB Type-C port.
Going to the cameras, it features a dual camera setup of 20 MP f/1.7 with Sony IMX519 zoom + 16 MP f/1.7 Sony IMX 376K sensors. It has an LED Flash, PDAF, OIS, EIC, 2x Optical Zoom, 4k video recording, and slo-mo features. For taking selfies, it sports an AI-powered 16 MP front snapper.
The OnePlus 6 will be available in three color variants – Silk White, Midnight Black, and Mirror Black. Both black variants will be released in the market starting on May 22, on the other hand, the Silk White variant will be available on June. The 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage variant is priced at $529, which is around PHP 27,000 when converted directly. The 8GB/128GB model will carry a price tag of $579, which is roughly around PHP 30,000, and the 8GB/256GB will retail for $629 (around PHP 30,000)
