nubia just launched a new smartphone for 2025. Just like the first nubia Music, the new nubia Music 2 is a budget smartphone focused on audio performance.
The smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display that supports a 120 Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the nubia Music 2 features a 50 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc T7200 chipset, paired with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
Battery-wise, the phone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging.
Now, the highlight of the nubia Music 2 is its 2.1-channel audio system, featuring three full-range speakers. With DTS:X Ultra technology, the phone provides spatial audio and reaches a loud maximum volume of 95 dB. This setup ensures good sound quality for music, videos, and gaming.
Adding to its appeal, the phone includes LED strips that synchronize with the music, offering a visually dynamic experience.
Unlike its predecessor, which featured two 3.5mm headphone jacks, the nubia Music 2 opts for a single headphone jack, a more standard choice for wired audio users.
The device runs on Android U, likely based on Android 14.
The nubia Music 2 is priced at RM389.00 (around PHP5,099) for the Basic variant and RM449.00 (approx. PHP5,899) for the Essential variant. It is currently sold in Malaysia, with availability in Philippines yet to be confirmed.
