Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 2.3 will receive Android 11 Update

HMD Global is releasing an Android 11 update for two of its phones. This will be the Nokia 8.1, originally released in 2018, and the Nokia 2.3, originally released back in 2019.

The Nokia 8.1’s first wave of updates will be released in the following territories: Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Macau, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. In these territories, 10% of users will immediately get an update notification, while 50% will receive it on April 10, and 100% on April 12. People on other territories can expect the update at a later date.

For the Nokia 2.3, the first wave will be released in these countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Latvia, Laos, Lithuania, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Sweden, and Vietnam. Similar rollouts will also be followed, 10% of users will immediately get the Android 11 update, 50% on April 10, and a 100% on April 12. Also, other countries will receive the update at a later date.
