REDMI has confirmed that the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ will launch this August in China.
The announcement was made on the brand’s official Weibo account. While only the Pro+ model has been mentioned, the REDMI Note 15 and Note 15 Pro are also expected to be unveiled at the same event.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ is the brand’s first phone to feature a symmetrical micro-curved design on both the front and back. REDMI says the build required advanced glass processing usually seen on flagship devices.
For durability, the device introduces a dual-sided protection system. It uses Xiaomi’s Crystal Glass on the front and a fibreglass back, designed to be lightweight but resistant to bending and impacts.
The company claims the setup offers up to 10 times better drop resistance compared to conventional designs and is the first to pass a 2-metre granite surface drop test, repeated 50 times.
