Jabra has officially announced the PanaCast 40 VBS in the Philippines.
This new VBS is an Android-powered video bar designed for small meeting rooms. It is the smaller, more affordable version of the PanaCast 50 VBS, offering similar features in a compact form.
The device is equipped with a dual-camera system that provides a 180-degree field of view, ensuring that everyone in the room is visible on video.
It also features advanced stitching technology, a single speaker, and six microphones with adaptive beamforming, delivering clear voice pickup.
Installation is designed to be quick and simple, with easy cable routing and compatibility with many of the same accessories as the PanaCast 50 VBS.
The system works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and BYOD setups. Optional accessories, such as a touch controller and detachable faceplate, are available separately or as part of a bundle.
Aside from that, it has a separate controller called Jabra Control IP that features a 10.1-inch display with a 1920 × 1200 resolution in landscape orientation. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) with IEEE 802.3af compliance.
For positioning, it can be set at 0° or 25° angles. The unit includes two proximity sensors and is compatible with Kensington locks for added security.
