The wait is over for Apple fans as CEO Tim Cook has officially announced the launch date of the iPhone 17 Series.
In a post on his official X account, he confirmed that the Apple Event will happen on September 9 in the U.S. (September 10 in the Philippines).
This follows the same schedule as last year’s launch of the iPhone 16 Series, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4.
Apple has not yet revealed official specs or prices, but several rumored details are already circulating online.
The iPhone 17 is said to feature a 6.9-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an aluminum and glass body, and iOS 26. It may run on the new A19 Pro chip with 12GB of RAM.

For cameras, the phone may include a 24MP front camera and three rear cameras: a 48MP Fusion main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide, and a 48MP telephoto with up to 8x optical zoom. Video recording could reach up to 8K.
Other rumored features include Wi-Fi 7 support, a 5,000mAh battery, 25W MagSafe wireless charging, vapor chamber cooling, and storage options of up to 2TB.
The starting price is expected to be around USD 1,249 (roughly PHP 71,999).
All official details will be confirmed at the Apple Event on September 10, 2025 at 1 a.m. Philippine time.
