Both displays support 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. They also support 1.07 billion colors and the P3 wide color gamut.

At the back, the Mate X7 has a triple camera setup:
It supports up to 4K (3840 × 2160) video recording and 1080p at 960fps slow motion. The phone offers 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
For selfies, there are two 8MP cameras, one for the cover screen (f/2.4) and another for the main screen when unfolded (f/2.2). Front video recording also supports up to 4K resolution.
Unfortunately, HUAWEI did not disclose the chipset, but the device comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. There is no support for external memory cards.
The Mate X7 is also packed with a 5,600mAh battery and supports 66W wired HUAWEI SuperCharge, 50W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging.
The device is rated IP58 and IP59 for splash, water, and dust resistance under IEC 60529 standards. Water resistance may decrease over time with regular use.
