WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new subscription service called “WhatsApp Plus.”
With WhatsApp Plus, users get access to exclusive sticker packs, 18 app theme colors, and the option to change the app icon on their device’s home screen.
The subscription also increases the chat pin limit to 20, up from the standard limit of three.
Other features include 10 exclusive ringtones and tools for managing chats more efficiently.
Users can group conversations into custom lists and apply settings, such as themes, across all chats within a list. These settings are automatically applied to new chats added to the list.

On the other hand, all core features, including end-to-end encryption, remain free. The paid tier only adds new features and does not remove any existing functionality.
WhatsApp Plus is currently focused on Android, with iOS support expected later.
Meta has not yet confirmed the official pricing for the subscription and a wider rollout has not yet been announced. Stay tuned.
