Metrobank is introducing a new flat rate for InstaPay transfers.
Previously, transfer fees for Metrobank users were PHP25, but they have now been reduced to PHP8.
As a quick throwback, Metrobank waived fees for transfers of PHP1,000 and below over the past year.
However, starting February 1, 2026, all InstaPay transfers, regardless of the amount, will incur the PHP8 service fee.
These changes apply specifically to transactions made via the newMetrobank App.
Users are encouraged to ensure their applications are updated to the latest version to reflect the new fee schedule.
