Xiaomi has launched its first compact tablet under the Redmi brand, called the Redmi K Pad in China.
The Redmi K Pad features an 8.8-inch 3K LCD with a 165Hz refresh rate, 700 nits peak brightness, and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR Vivid. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has TÜV Rheinland triple certifications for eye safety.

The camera setup includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, built on a 3nm process, paired with an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU.
The tablet uses a centered SoC layout for better thermal control, along with a 12,050mm² vapor chamber for cooling.

Battery-wise, it comes with a 7,500mAh with support for 67W wired charging and includes a Bypass Charging Plus feature for cooler charging during gaming.
Out of the box, it runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.

The Redmi K Pad is now available in China, starting at CNY2,799 for the 8GB + 256GB model, with higher variants going up to CNY4,199 for the 16GB + 1TB version.
