HUAWEI has announced the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, a new smartwatch from the brand designed for runners.
The device features a titanium body and a new antenna system called the XDR Inertial Navigation Positioning Algorithm.
According to HUAWEI, this enhancement improves signal performance, allowing the watch to maintain route tracking even in areas with weak or no GPS signal, such as tunnels or dense urban environments.

For training, the watch includes personalized running plans and a real-time lactate threshold detection feature, which measures exercise intensity during workouts. It also tracks metrics such as route, speed, and heart rate.
The WATCH GT Runner 2 weighs 43.5g and has a thickness of 10.7mm. It uses Kunlun glass and comes with a woven strap.
Health features include heart rate monitoring, ECG, heart rate variability (HRV), and sleep tracking, powered by HUAWEI’s TruSense system.

Battery life is rated at up to 14 days under light use, with up to 32 hours of continuous GPS tracking. The watch supports both Android and iOS devices.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 smartwatch is priced at PHP 19,999 SRP.
Pre-orders in the Philippines will run from April 17 to 23, 2026, with availability through HUAWEI’s official channels.
