Energizer, a well-known battery tech brand, has entered the foldable smartphone business with the unveiling of the Energizer Ultimate U660S. It was showcased at the MWC 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.
The smartphone sports a clamshell-type foldable mechanism with a pattern design at the back. The cover display sits next to its dual-rear cameras consisting of a 64MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.
The internal display is a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080) OLED panel.
Powering the foldable device is a mid-range 2.2GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The choice of processor is quite surprising considering the foldable category leans more toward a flagship-type processor.
The chip is accompanied by 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 3400mAh battery to juice it up, which is also below average in the foldable category.

The Energizer Ultimate U660S is priced at EUR 499 (~PHP 30,346) and will launch in November.
Its price point can rival the recently launched nubia Flip 5G.
