Meizu has started teasing its upcoming flagship, the Meizu 22, in China, revealing the phone’s front design for the first time.
The device aims to set a record for the world’s narrowest symmetrical bezels, with all four sides measuring just 1.2mm.
To overcome this, Meizu’s R&D team developed a new in-house LIPO process and a six-layer treatment method, though the company admits this led to higher failure rates during testing.
According to the CMIIT listing, the device is expected to feature a 5500mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chip, and a periscope telephoto camera.
While the exact display size is not yet confirmed, the phone is said to offer a compact form factor designed for comfortable one-handed use.
