Xiaomi has announced the launch of its latest tablet, the Redmi Pad SE 8.7. This tablet is designed to provide a high-quality viewing experience in a compact and portable device.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 features an 8.7-inch IPS LCD display with up to 600 nits of brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals for scrolling and gaming. The screen has a 5:3 aspect ratio, providing a wider view compared to the standard 16:9.
The display also includes eye protection features like low blue light and a flicker-free experience, as well as a Paper Reading mode that simulates the look of paper for comfortable reading.
For audio, the tablet supports Dolby Atmos® technology, which enhances sound quality. It also offers up to 2TB of built-in storage, allowing users to store a large amount of content.
The tablet is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor, providing efficient multitasking and gaming performance. It has a 6,650mAh battery that can last up to 25.2 hours of video playback and supports 18W fast charging, fully charging in about 140 minutes.
Available in three colors—Graphite Gray, Aurora Green, and Sky Blue—the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is slim and lightweight at 8.8 mm thick and weighing 373 grams.
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is available on Shopee through the Xiaomi Global Store with an Early Bird Promo until September 4.
The 4GB + 128GB model is priced at PHP6,399, down from the SRP of PHP7,999, and the 4GB + 64GB variant is available for PHP5,399, reduced from PHP6,999.
