Google Adds Two New Features for Chrome

Google

Google Chrome is rolling out two new features aimed at improving productivity, the vertical tabs and an updated reading mode.

The vertical tabs option lets users move tabs from the top of the browser to the side.

This makes it easier to view full tab titles and manage multiple tabs, especially when many are open.

Users can enable it by right-clicking on a Chrome window and selecting “Show Tabs Vertically.”

Meanwhile, reading mode has been updated with a full-page interface.

It removes distractions from webpages and focuses on text for easier reading.

Users can access it by right-clicking on a page and selecting “Open in reading mode.”

Both features are now being introduced to users as part of Chrome’s latest updates, with availability gradually rolling out.
