
HONOR has officially launched its latest foldable smartphone, the HONOR Magic V5, to the global market. It is also slated to launch in the Philippines on September 5, 2025.
To recap, the HONOR Magic V5 is a flagship foldable smartphone boasting an 8.8mm thickness when folded, 4.2mm when unfolded, and a weight of 217 grams.
There’s a 6.43-inch OLED external panel with 2376 x 1060 resolution and an HONOR Anti-Scratch NanoCrystal Shield protection, while a 7.95-inch OLED display is inside with a 2352 x 2172 resolution and HONOR Super Armored Inner Screen protection. Both displays come with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,320Hz PWM Dimming, and 5,000 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core processor with Adreno 830 GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 5,820mAh Li-Po Silicon-Carbon battery capacity with support for 66W HONOR SuperCharge wired fast charging and 50W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge.
The foldable is also equipped with a 50MP f/1.6 main camera with OIS, a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide shooter, and a 64MP f/2.5 periscope telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom. The inner and external screens are equipped with a 20MP selfie camera.

The HONOR Magic V5 will launch exclusively with Globe on September 5, 2025. HONOR Philippines has yet to reveal its official pricing in the Philippines.
