Panasonic has introduced the Lumix FZ80D, a new superzoom point-and-shoot bridge camera.
Key features of the Lumix FZ80D include an 18.1MP high-sensitivity CMOS sensor, a Lumix DC Vario 60x zoom lens, and POWER O.I.S. enhancements. Improvements such as an upgraded viewfinder, rear LCD touchscreen, and the convenience of in-camera charging with USB-C connectivity enhance usability.
It also comes with a DC Vario 60x lens, offering an expansive zoom range equivalent to 20-1200mm, ideal for capturing wildlife and landscapes. The POWER O.I.S. minimizes camera shake at longer focal lengths, ensuring sharper handheld shots.
Video capabilities include UHD 4K recording at 30p and various slow-motion options in HD. For still photography, it supports 4K Burst modes for capturing high-speed sequences. It includes an 18MP Type 1/2.3 sensor and a 3.58-215mm F2.8-5.9 zoom lens, providing an equivalent focal length range of 20-1200mm.
Additional features like Zoom Compose Assist simplify composition adjustments, while a dedicated macro mode allows focusing on subjects as close as 0.4 inches.
The Panasonic Lumix FZ80D is priced at $479.99 (around PHP28k). It offers an 18MP Type 1/2.3 sensor and a versatile 20-1200mm equivalent zoom lens.
