
Xiaomi has officially introduced another smartphone in their entry-level lineup in India, the Redmi A5.
The Redmi A5 features a 6.88-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HD resolution (1650 x 720 pixels). It also comes with TÜV Low Blue Light certification, TÜV Flicker-Free certification, and TÜV Circadian Friendly features.
In terms of cameras, the A5 is equipped with a single 32MP AI rear camera and an 8MP front camera sensor.
Under the hood, it runs on the UNISOC T7250 processor and is available with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot that supports expansion of up to 2TB.
The Redmi A5 is powered by a 5200mAh battery and supports 15W wired charging via USB Type-C.
Out of the box, it supports dual SIM 4G, runs on Android 15, and promises 2 major Android updates along with 4 years of security patch updates.
The Redmi A5 is now available and it comes with a 3GB + 64GB model is priced at INR 6,499 (approx. PHP4,399), and the 4GB + 128GB version at INR 7,499 (approx. PHP4,999).
