Motorola has launched its latest smartphone, the Razr 50 Ultra, initially in China and now available across Europe, including the UK. Let’s see what it has to offer!



The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has a similar 6.9 inches Foldable LTPO AMOLE but with a higher 165Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision and also a similar resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels. It is also IPX8 water resistant and Dual SIM supported just like the base version.
The Ultra variant front display is made of plastic when unfolded and Gorilla Glass Victus when folded, while its back cover is crafted from eco-friendly silicone polymer resembling leather, all held together by a sturdy 6000 series aluminum frame and a durable stainless steel hinge.

The Ultra variant runs on Android 14 with Moto AI, the devices introduce features like Magic Canvas, which enables users to create wallpapers from text prompts. It includes familiar Motorola gestures such as chopping motions for flashlight activation, wrist twists for camera launch, and three-finger touches for screenshots.

In terms of photography, the Razr 50 Ultra boasts a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP 2x telephoto camera. Selfies are captured with a 32MP front camera. Audio quality is enhanced with dual stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos and advanced voice control through Gemini and Moto AI.
