Google has rolled out updates to Search that expand how users interact with AI-generated results to handle longer and more complex queries better.
The company has made Gemini 3 the default model for AI Overviews worldwide, which provides AI-written summaries directly on the search results page when applicable.
Alongside this, Google has added the ability to ask follow-up questions from an AI Overview and continue the discussion in AI Mode while keeping the original context.
As for its subscription, there are no pricing changes for Gemini One Plans. There are also no ad updates or user action required mentioned.
The update focuses mainly on query flow and interaction.
The updated AI Mode access from AI Overviews is now available on mobile devices worldwide.
