Apple has released the first public beta versions of iOS 27, allowing users with compatible devices to try the upcoming software before its official release.
One of the biggest additions is Siri AI, a more advanced version of Siri that can search the web, understand on-screen content, access personal information with permission, and perform tasks across apps.
It also supports multi-turn conversations through a dedicated Siri app. These AI features are available on devices that support Apple Intelligence.
Apple also updated its Liquid Glass interface with improved visuals and a new transparency adjustment slider.
Several built-in apps also received new features. The Camera app now includes expanded Visual Intelligence tools, such as identifying meal nutrition and helping split bills.
The Photos app adds new AI editing tools, while Safari can automatically organize tabs. Users can also create Shortcuts and Safari extensions using natural language commands.
Other updates include custom EQ controls for AirPods, support for 4K cameras in the Home app, and additional child safety features.
Apple is expected to release the final version of iOS 27 later this year.
Users can join Apple’s public beta program and install the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update after enrolling their device in the beta program.
