Canva has expanded its Magic Layers feature to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini.
Magic Layers uses Canva’s AI technology to separate elements within an image, such as text, objects, and backgrounds, into individual editable layers.
This allows users to modify, move, resize, or replace elements without starting from scratch.
The feature is now available through Canva’s integrations with ChatGPT and Gemini. Users can generate an image in an AI assistant and then use Canva to turn it into an editable design.
According to Canva, the feature can be used for a variety of projects, including marketing materials, social media content, event posters, product visuals, and interior design concepts.
The Canva app for ChatGPT and the Canva Connected App for Gemini are now available globally.
