This November 13, vivo is gearing up to unveil its latest offerings in the smartphone arena, namely the vivo X100 and X100 Pro. With leaks gradually revealing key specifications, the focus now shifts to the intricate details of their camera setups, as disclosed by tipster Ishan Agarwal.

Diving into the specifications, the vivo X100 Pro is anticipated to showcase a robust camera system. Leading the pack is a 50-megapixel main camera, armed with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a wide aperture of F/1.75.

Complementing this, the smartphone boasts a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera featuring an aperture of F/2.0, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS, 4.3x zoom capability, and an aperture of F/2.5. Notably, the X100 Pro is expected to support 8K video recording, adding a significant edge to its imaging capabilities.

Meanwhile, the vivo X100 is not far behind in the camera department. Its main camera also weighs in at 50 megapixels with OIS, offering a slightly narrower aperture of F/1.6. The ultrawide camera matches the X100 Pro with a 50-megapixel sensor and F/2.0 aperture, while the 64-megapixel 3X telephoto camera features OIS and an aperture of F/2.6.

Reports suggest that the primary cameras for both models will be the Sony IMX920 and IMX989, with additional lenses like the Samsung JN1 for ultra-wide shots and an OmniVision OV64B for periscope telephoto shots.

Beyond the technical specifications, the leaked information also provides a sneak peek at the camera module design.

Interestingly, both the X100 and X100 Pro share an identical rear camera module, with a distinctive crescent design. However, an intriguing difference surfaces in their crescent design placements – the X100 Pro situates it at the bottom, while the standard X100 model opts for a right-side placement.

In terms of processing power, both smartphones will be fueled by the Dimensity 9300 chipset.

Pricing for these advanced devices is set to commence at 3,999 Yuan (PHP30,600), positioning them as compelling contenders in the competitive smartphone market
