Lalamove has officially announced a new service launching this February.
According to a post on their official Facebook page, Lalamove Ride is set to be introduced this month as a ride-hailing service.
Previously, the delivery and logistics company strictly prohibited passengers in their delivery vehicles, but with this new service, they will now compete with other ride-hailing platforms in the market.
This service is already available in other countries, such as Malaysia. The company has also started posting the requirements, which interested applicants can check through their official website in the Philippines.
Many Filipinos have also suggested that the company should consider offering motorcycle taxi services in the future.
The ride-hailing service is set to launch in the Philippines on February 10, 2025 and will be accessible through the same application that users currently use for same-day deliveries.
