iPhone 13 Mini Prototype Shows Two Cameras on a Diagonal Setup

The latest leak for the iPhone 13 mini somehow confirms that its redesigned rear cameras will be coming with two lenses that are placed diagonally instead of the usual of one over the other. The leak provided a hands-on photo of the prototype mini which backs up recent claims of the redesign on its rear cameras.

Be reminded that Apple is still far from the schedule in mass-producing the phone while the photo provided is only a prototype. If Apple decides that this will be their official and final design, it will surely come in the upcoming to the larger iPhone 13.

There are also CAD-based renders which were provided by xleaks7 and Pigtou last week. The renders suggest that the two Pro models will have no changes as the company would try and fit three cameras including LiDAR in their square. A YouTube video was also uploaded by Everything Apple Pro EAP regarding the iPhone 13 mini and Pro Max designs along with 3D printed dummies.

One reason that Apple is applying a new layout is probably the fact that they are fitting a larger sensor making its camera a bit thicker for the 13-series.
