Apple has announced a new iPad mini.
The iPad features an 8.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits.
The tablet is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip, built using a 2-nanometer process. Apple says it delivers up to 4.5 times faster AI performance, up to 2.7 times faster graphics performance, and up to 60% faster multithreaded CPU performance than the previous generation.
For cameras, the new iPad mini has a 12MP Center Stage front camera positioned on the landscape edge and a 12MP rear camera that supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps. It also features an Adaptive True Tone flash.
The tablet runs iPadOS 27, which introduces updated Apple Intelligence features and a new version of Siri. It also has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
