Huawei P50 Pocket vs. OPPO Find N2 Flip 5G—Battle Of The Clamshell


A new clamshell foldable phone from a different brand will launch globally. OPPO‘s first worldwide foldable phone, the Find N2 Flip, will ship shortly. The Find N2 Flip is a clamshell phone, and it’s not China’s first foldable phone. Huawei P50 Pocket is one of several inexpensive rivals. Despite the U.S. ban, it is global. Here is a comparison of the OPPO Find N2 Flip vs. Huawei P50 Pocket’s powerful specs.

Design & Display

What’s your take on which of these two phones has the better design? You decide. The Huawei P50 Pocket boasts a unique circular exterior display, but the OPPO Find N2 Flip sports an almost invisible hinge and more petite proportions. Both phones are stunning and futuristic, making them undecidable to pick. What style do you prefer?

In terms of display, both phones have foldable internal screens. The OPPO Find N2 Flip shows a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The Huawei P50 Pocket has a 6.9-inch Full HD+ resolution OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. External display distinguishes, and it’s larger and can do more on the OPPO Find N2 Flip. It is a 3.26-inch rectangular AMOLED display with 382 x 720 pixels. The Huawei P50 Pocket’s external OLED display is 1.04 inches and 340 x 340 pixels, making it less functional.

Camera & Speakers

Huawei P50 Pocket secondary cameras are superior to those of OPPO foldable phones. The primary sensor is 40 megapixels, and there is also a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 32-megapixel portrait shooter. Contrast that with the OPPO Find N2 Flip’s superior 50-megapixel primary camera.

Both clamshells have stereo loudspeakers but no 3.5mm audio jack.

OS & Hardwares

Compared to the Huawei P50 Pocket’s HarmonyOS 2.0 with EMUI 12, which does not have Google Play Services, the OPPO Find N2 Flip’s Android 13 with ColorOS 13 is superior. Compared to the Huawei P50 Pocket, the OPPO Find N2 Flip’s hardware is excellent. It has a storage capacity of up to 512 GB, 16 GB of RAM, and a Dimensity 9000+ mobile platform. The Huawei P50 Pocket has a subpar Snapdragon 888 processor, up to 512GB of native storage, and 12GB of RAM. Unlike its competitor, the P50 Pocket’s expandable storage, 5G connection, and Google Mobile Services are unavailable worldwide because of the U.S. restriction.

Battery & Charging

There is a larger battery (4300 mAh) and longer runtime with the OPPO Find N2 Flip. When it comes to rapid charging, there is little difference between these gadgets.

Price & Availability

In China, the OPPO Find N2 Flip starts at roughly $866 (or Php 47,357), while the Huawei P50 Pocket begins at around $1,050 (around Php 57,419). The Find N2 Flip is the superior device.
